Every day is Halloween...

For George Bush, every day is Halloween. Every morning, this man gets himself out of bed and dons his 'patriotic American' costume and goes around masquerading it anywhere people will listen to him. He claims to defend America from "terrorists" and "the homosexual agenda." Who the fuck does this man think he's fooling?

He wants John Kerry to apologize to the troops? Firstly, Kerry was making a joke about Bush, not the troops, but seriously, shouldn't it be Mr. Bush who should be apologizing? For 100 dead in October? For how disgraced we are for continuing this illegal invasion and killing over 2,500 of our young men and women - FOR NOTHING???!!!

In a letter to the editor in today's SF Chronicle, from Stanley F. Kern of Daly City nailed the gay rights/same-sex marriage issue perfectly when he said that "Gay people are not the enemy (just a convenient target) and Bush knows that, adding to his culpability for spreading hatred and prejudice. Whatever one's position on the issue of same-sex marriage, it should be approached politically with reason and a zest for justice being its centerpieces. This is still America, where liberty and justice applies to all people!"

Vote, November 7. Vote Democratic all the way through. Hold your nose for some of the Dems you might be voting for if you have to, but vote Dem nonetheless so we can take back our government and salvage what is left of this country that George Bush has been trying to flush down the toilet for the past six years.

Thanks for listening, have a great day, and don't forget to laugh.

Kenny
